Weaving Social Corridors

This mixed-use commercial housing project aims to accommodate business star-ups and create a self-sustained community. Situated in the harbour front location and intersection of public transport, the site is ideal for drawing pedestrian flow and elevating businesses with convenient logistics.
With the rich history of post-industrial and domestic production of the neighbourhood, the campus provides meeting and production space in addition to living quarters. The tower closest to monorail statin is a ramping shophouse typology, while the ones near waterfront are more high-end and private residencies. |
Each tower has its unique structural approach per courtyard and roof top usage. While three towers have unroofed atrium spaces and arcades for green roofs, a retractable roof is designed for the Forum as it serves as community and event space for both residents and shoppers.
As residents share facilities and provide services to one another, this campus is a breeding ground for creative businesses and innovation for economically sustainable live-work typology. |
